the elasticated rear is holding up suprisingly well after many months of use - comfy shoe overall. The toebox was a little cramped when I first purchased, however, has loosened out a small bit to be a great fit. Great urban shoe.

I bought these for casual use, but even with decent room in front of my toes, the upper impinges upon my second toes, which do not sit flat like many people's.

You can get it big enough so you can walk around in it with the heel folded down without it falling off after a couple of steps.
You can get it fitted small enough so that it has some edging ability.
I don't believe it's possible to have both of its listed functions work.
