To say I'm pleased with these shoes is an understatement. Since having water ingress issues with 3 pairs of Salomon Gore Tex waterproof walking shoes I had become sceptical whether a truly waterproof walking shoe existed.
These AKU shoes have restored my faith completely. From the first time I wore them they were comfortable but the acid test was were they waterproof - the answer is a resounding yes
I have worn them for long rainy winter dog walking and also several rounds of wet winter golf and they havent let me down once. They have been tested in heavy rain, really wet grass, up hill and down dale and I can't fault them. Warm, comfortable and above all waterproof. It is so nice to come back from being out either in the rain or just walking in wet grass and when you take your shoes off your socks are dry.
A full 10/10 . . .and then some!
