Product description

Made for icy and harsh conditions

Jokla means glacier in Icelandic, which is an appropriate name, since the Jokla Parka from 66 North is built to withstand extreme cold and rough conditions.

The parka is designed to be worn on expeditions with a base layer and a mid layer underneath. It has a relaxed fit and is slightly longer than a normal parka.

Built for working in extreme conditions

The waterproof parka is specially made for guides, arctic photographers and film crews who are working in the wild. It's equipped with 14 pockets, offering space for your lens caps, maps and much more. Plus, it's made of an extremely durable Cordura fabric, has a hydrostatic head of 9,000 mm, and features taped seams. The parka consists of RDS-certified goose down, which means the down was ethically sourced. It’s completed by reflective stripes at the back and on the sleeves that provide better visibility in bad weather conditions.

The highlights at a glance:

  • All seams are taped to make it more waterproof
  • The hood trim with a down fill is removable
  • Parka has ribbed cuffs and numerous pockets
  • Drawstring at hem and waist and hook-and-loop fasteners at the sleeves
  • Reflective stripes on the back and sleeves
