The difference is in the back system and the suitable torso length.
S/M 41-48cm , L/XL 48-56cm.

Sorry if I worded my last answer in a confusing way. The back system is the same but S/M is to suit a torso length of 41-48cm and L/XL a torso length of 48-56cm.
