Can the pole sections be separated for travel?

Can the pole sections be separated for travel? The collapsed length of 57cm is too long for me. 54cm will fit in my pannier and I'd reassemble the pole before starting a walk.

Hi Erick,

Yes , you can seperate the pole sections. Unfortunately, we can't get an exact measurement for you but based on my own pole , when taken apart, you can see a length reduction of easily 5cm.
