This was my first bite-valve anything. I initially bought it to be used in a shoulder pocket of my hiking pack for which is suited perfectly and allowed me hands-free sipping during strenuous hiking in the heat. Since then I've also picked up cycling and having this in my jersey pocket has been valuable for quick drinks in the saddle.
