Bought these rain trousers to go with my Gonso waterproof and windproof jacket. These are truly waterproof and the difference when wearing these is very noticeable as well as protection against the wind and cold. The XL size are just long enough for me (189cm) but are quite wide around the thighs. That does make it easier to take them off with shoes on. Around the lower leg there are ready to use velcro strips to make sure these do not get in the way.
