The material is also hydrolysis-resistant, which means it does not allow moisture to get inside, where bacteria can then develop. The mat is insulated with a synthetic filling that keeps you warm even on cold nights and on cold ground. Although the mat is partly self-inflating, a small pump is included to inflate it even further. The large flat valve can be used for quick deflation.
