28.03.2025Loved the fit!
I loved the size, it is not too oversized, and not a regular fit. Gotta be tested in weather conditions. So far, I have to wait for the season. :) But seems like a good catch for the discount. Not so sure about regular price/performance.

11.07.2025WHY IS THIS THING SO HUGE
I oredered a size down from what I usually wear and it is still way, way too big, especially the bottom part - which is odd, as I'm kind of pear shaped and usually have the opposite problem of things being too tight over the hips. A smaller size would be too small on the top, so I'm returning it. On the photo it doesn't really give the impression of such a huge flare out at the bottom!
Bought it discounted and I don't think it's worth the full price ... 50 % off is a reasonable price.
It's my second time buying this brand and I ended up disappointed both times. Judging by the photos I always expect a sturdier material and a better cut. So I guess I'll give up and try some other brands :)

I found the Alicia Parka 2 absurdly oversized. Is the Amira Parka sized more accurately?
Hi Fiona,
The Alicia has an oversized fit:
Oversized Fit: A loose fit for those who want an oversized design or simply a more generous garment. If you want a tighter fit, simply choose a size smaller than your usual size.
Whereas the Amira has a relaxed fit:
Relaxed fit: The perfect choice if you don't want the garment to be too tight, but also not oversized.

I bought this coat back at the start of the winter season (2024 into early 2025), and it was one of the best buys ever. It's incredibly warm, amazing in gale force winds and a decent waterproof. I love the cuff alteration ability, which is great for making sure you get your gloves tucked in, and I love the simple draw-string mechanism on the hood. My only slight issue is that the hood is really big. Even when pulling it over a thick beanie, it does have a tendency to slip forward - but that's where the drawstring comes in handy. Length is great - I'm 5ft 7 and it comes just to the top of my wellie boots, so a perfect dog walking coat, but equally just as capable on a winter hike in changeable weather. Note of caution, it is incredibly warm, so if you need to take it off, it's a really bulky coat to carry and is not designed to be packable.
