Waterproof trekking boots for difficult terrain

The Terrex Skychaser Tech Mid GTX from adidas Terrex are ankle-high walking shoes for men. There are elements of dynamic approach shoes and classic walking boots that come together to create these great walking shoes. They’re suitable for agile hiking on steep, technically demanding trails.

Walking boot meets approach shoe

They feature a two-part, cushioning EVA midsole with a protective TPU plate to protect your muscles and tendons on long distances with luggage. It also stabilises your feet on edges and pointy surfaces. Plus, they have an 8mm drop, supporting your foot’s rolling motion. As for the outsole, it’s made of durable rubber for protection. In addition, there is a climbing-compatible forefoot along with a rear sole section similar to classic walking boots that are ideal for technical passages. This double construction offers precision and reactivity whilst walking without sacrificing comfort.

Equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane, the upper is waterproof. They’re also equipped with TPU reinforcements on the sides and heels to protect the material against scree and wear. As for the collar, there is firm padding at the ankles and an elastic material at the Achilles heel. As a result, the walking shoes offer you stability and freedom of movement.
