Product description
The Phantom Tech HD by Scarpa is a technical high-altitude mountain boot that is built for ice and snow. The entire shoe is enclosed in a waterproof, breathable gaiter with H-Dry membrane. The elastic fabric fits perfectly around the shoe and ensures maximum freedom of movement. The gaiter is closed with a water-repellent zip. The boot itself is also water-repellent and features warm PrimaLoft insulation. This keeps your feet warm even at high altitudes and in harsh climates. The Sock-Fit XT construction means the shoe encloses the foot like a sock and offers a particularly comfortable fit. The three-part insole is made of perforated EVA for high wearing comfort, an insulating aerogel insert and carbon fibres of varying thickness. There is also an insulating insole, which makes sure your feet stay warm. The innersole is made of low-density PU, which provides cushioning and control, and the Vibram outsole with tried-and-tested Mont rubber compound is super stable, durable and offers a perfect grip. Of course, the Phantom Tech HD is fully crampon-compatible.

This is what other customers say:
I use them alone or together with Petzl Lynx crampons. The boots fit me well and are waterproof. Very comfortable with good ankle support.

Got the Phantom Techs recently and had the opportunity to try them for 10+ trips on WI and mixed routes. They are waterproof and robust, but I keep having cold feet in them in relatively warm weather (-3/-4 C), this might be caused by the socks that I use and not the boots themselves. All in all, a great boot!
