The Women's Brilliant Jacket from the French alpine specialists Salomon really lives up to its name! Thanks to the AdvancedSkin Dry technology, these trousers boast all the features that are important for long, strenuous days on the slopes. They are waterproof (hydrostatic head of 20,000mm) and highly breathable (20,000g/m2/24h) so that you can still go hard on the slopes and have fun, even in nasty weather conditions! Plus, because the fabric is also windproof, the dreaded wind chill effect also loses its terror. A PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating on the outer material makes it permanently water repellent. Meanwhile, the PrimaLoft Black Eco insulation ensures that you stay nice and warm even in low temperatures. Plus, the hood is adjustable in three dimensions.
Great fit, intelligent details
The athletic, body-hugging slim fit ensures cosy comfort, which is further emphasised by the 4-way stretch of the fabric and the articulated sleeves. Plus, it’s equipped with a drawstring in the hem that allows you to adjust the fit to your needs. In addition, unlike natural down, PrimaLoft insulation made from recycled polyester can be compressed at will and is a gratefully hard-wearing material that keeps you warm even when damp. Other practical features include the sealed seams that prevent the wind and moisture from penetrating. As for storage space, it’s provided by the two zipped front and zipped chest pockets.
