Despite being an osprey customer for many years, I realized that they don't make mountaineering packs for my needs, so I've just bought the Millet Peuterey 40+10L with the accessories like crampons holder, side bag holder, front access interior, mountaineering pack and generally with the features I needed. The straps all work easily and have rubber so they don't hang. very much of a detail.
I used it in a winter mountaineering in snow for 8 hours with merino base layer and no sweat as with other backpacks.What is missing in my opinion? whistle on the chest strap, rain cover, the water tank is quite low and the exit from the sides, It fitted well with the osprey hydraulic 2L.
Some bad threads here and there and gets dirty easily in straps and in the crampon bag.
I have to see after 2, 3 years how it behaves and come back with a review. Torso length 46cm in litres 35+10 and 48cm in litres 45+10
I would definitely recommend this product as one of the best in carry load
