The Set Ultimate Ferrata S from LACD was designed for beginners and advanced via ferrata climbers.

The set consists of an easy-to-use palm-squeeze carabiner, medium-length lanyards, a swivel and a relatively compact energy absorber and a twisted attachment loop. The carabiners can be released and opened using a palm squeeze, making it easy to clip and unclip your way along the via ferrata. The loop is twisted for easy attachment. In the event of a fall, the energy absorber will help to make the fall softer, reducing the risk of injury.
