solid knee pad
Very stiff knee pad: the arch is preformed and never lies flat. The protection extends deeply towards the kneecap as well. I quickly got used to both features and found I prefer them over other solutions (like those from 5.10 and Send) quite a lot. While often advantageous, these features also render the knee pad unusable in specific situations. One such case is when you want your knee pad to sit on the side of your leg to increase friction in compression rather than in proper knee-barring.
