Product description
Equipped with stretch panels, this ergonomic hardshell jacket is perfectly suited for aerobic activities in the mountains like ski touring and alpine climbing - Meet the Brangus Jacket from Black Yak! Thanks to the incorporation of Gore stretch fabric, this waterproof jacket allows for an incredible amount of freedom of movement, making it perfect for ascents and tough climbing moves. For the outer, Black Yak used C-Knit fabric from GORE-TEX, making the jacket not only breathable but windproof and waterproof as well. When the going gets tough, you can use the pit zips for ventilation! The helmet-compatible hood is equipped with several drawcords at the front and back you can use to get a secure and comfortable fit. There are also hook-and-loop fasteners at the cuffs to prevent the sleeves riding up when you're climbing. The front pockets are nice and warm, so you'll be able to warm up your hands in a flash. Thanks to the taped seams, the Brangus Jacket from Black Yak is a great waterproof for any weather, no matter how wet it gets.

The Black Yak Brangus would have been a really great jacket if it wouldn't have been badly cut around the shoulders and extra large around the waist for a small size, which really made me feel compelled to return it several times. For me, at 1.75m and 58kg, it's very baggy around the chest and waist, and unfolds terribly unaesthetically around the arm pits when you fully open the arm pit zips. It's also very stiff. If you're not slim as I am and you don't plan on wearing it around town, then it will probably fit well on you. However, on me, the S looks like an XL.
