If you’re looking for a belay device and a carabiner, then you’ve got to check out the Big Air Pilot Package from Black Diamond.

The ATC Pilot belay device is actually an autotube belay device. These types of devices can partially block the rope in case of a jerky movement. Plus, it’ll be able to hold a fall even if you’re holding the brake rope with little force. In addition, thanks to its ergonomic design and the non-slip surface, the belay device will lie perfectly in your hand and is easy to use. The ATC Pilot was designed for use with single ropes and, due to its construction, it’s particularly suitable for sport climbing both indoors and out on the crag.

In addition, it also comes with a practical RockLock carabiner that’s been adapted for use with the belay device. Its round shape and optimized size ensure a good interaction between the carabiner and the belay device. This not only increases safety, but also enhances rope handling.
