You can't get much lighter than this: The Flylite 2-Person Tent by MSR. When packed up, it weighs just over a kilo meaning that it fits perfectly into any backpack without much effort. Everything has been cut down to the basics and it comes with only one pole for the rear part of the tent. At the front, the tent is pegged using trekking poles which you should ideally have with you while touring.The Flylite 2-Person Tent has a wide entrance protected by a small canopy. There are numerous vents around the tent to ensure that the inside climate is always perfect. Both the fly and the floor reliably prevent dampness due to their Durashield coating.
