Product description
Weatherproof jacket with a down fill
The Reese Hardshell Down Jacket from Nordisk is built to keep you warm and protect you from the elements during winter hikes, climbs and treks.
It features a two-layer, windproof, waterproof and elastic outer made of recycled polyester that’s equipped with a membrane. This allows moisture to escape to the outside and repels the wind, rain and snow. The taped seams and the durable water-repellent coating offer extra weather protection.
The breathable, water-repellent European down fill retains heat and is lightweight. The material warms even when damp, is tougher than conventional down and dries quickly.
The zips under the arms allow you to cool down quickly during a strenuous climb. Some other practical features include the adjustable hood with the brim that keeps out the snow, wind and rain and the front two-way zip that offers easy access to the climbing harness.
The Reese Hardshell Down Jacket with its simple design is also great for everyday life.
Note: after 15 years of close collaboration, Yeti and Nordisk joined forces in 2020 to create a unified outdoor brand. Yeti fans don’t need to worry: the iconic red Y seen on down clothing and down sleeping bags continues to value high-quality down. There is hardly anything else that changes. You’re guaranteed to have a high-quality product, and Nordisk becomes a down specialist.
