The outer fabric is windproof and water-repellent. So occasional contact with powder snow is no problem. The jacket also features synthetic insulation that reliably retains your body heat.
The hood on the AlaM. is especially practical on windy days or in light precipitation. It can be quickly and easily adjusted using the drawstring, ensuring a secure fit even on descents.
