Warm and casual down jacket for women
If you’re in the market for a cosy and casual jacket, then you need to check out the lightweight Women's Brenta Jacket from Salewa.
The down jacket is made of a tear-resistant nylon outer with a long-lasting water-repellent DWR finish. On the inside, you’ll find high-quality duck down, which respects the strict animal welfare guidelines. It has an 80/20 down-to-feather ratio and a fill power of 550 cuin. Plus, the strategically placed baffles prevent the fill from slipping and the formation of cold bridges. In addition, the quilting creates a dynamic look.
Athletic fit for activities
The jacket was designed to provide lots of freedom of movement and therefore features articulated shoulders and sleeves along with gusset inserts at the waist. The two side pockets can be used to store valuables and warm up cold hands. The hood is also lined and, like the cuffs and waistband, also elasticised. You’ll be perfectly equipped for the cold weather!

The Salewa Committed symbol indicates products that meet strict internal criteria at Salewa with regard to environmental and social responsibility. A Salewa product must meet two mandatory criteria and at least one additional criterion.
The mandatory criteria include: 1. Chemicals verified: more than 90% of the product weight meets at least one of the following criteria: a) the main fabric (for the entire product) has been chemically tested according to Oberalp's chemical guideline or b) the main fabric is bluesign-certified. 2. Factory monitored for social standards: the second obligatory criterion is that the factory where the product has been manufactured has been audited for social standards and working conditions by external audits.
The additional criteria, depending on the product, include upcycling, recycling, certain material compositions, PFC-free coatings or responsibly sourced down.

The jacket is very good Salewa quality. The design is too tight. When I zip it it is too tight in the part of hips, not very good cut for normal body type. If you are very slim than it will fit well.

While it can be used as part of your layering system for skiing , this jacket would not be suitable as a stand alone jacket for skiing.
There is no inside pocket.

Hi Tatyjana,
For Kili you'll be needing a number of layers because of the variation in temperatures. While the Brenta will suit as a mid layer when on the move in colder conditions, you'll be needing something much better insulated for evenings , the summit and for emergency. For example:
