Product description
Three-piece avalanche transceiver set with an innovative IPS technology
The Set Pro IPS from Pieps has everything that professional and amateur mountaineers need. The three-piece avalanche beacon set consists of the Pieps Pro IPS beacon, the Pieps C660 avalanche shovel and a Pieps Alu 260 Sport probe. The beacon is equipped with a 3-antenna system and has an impressive range of 70 metres for a fast and stable initial reception. It uses the unique Interference Protection System (IPS) from Pieps, which provides reliable protection against electronic interference signals and maximises the transmission performance. The acoustic search support and the built-in vibration prevents you from missing any signals. The scan function gives you an overview of the situation, while the victim selection lets you search for various victims.
Well thought out from A to Z
Thanks to the integrated inclinometer, you’ll stay informed about the ambient conditions. Plus, it has a Bluetooth interface that lets you manage the device manually via the Pieps app. This also allows the firmware to quickly update to the latest version before each tour. The unit comes with three AAA alkaline batteries, but can easily be powered with more powerful AAA lithium batteries to increase the battery life from 400 to a whopping 600 hours in transmit mode. In addition, it comes with a hard case to make carrying the beacon more easy. This, along with the low weight and the compact size lets you place it in your trouser or jacket pocket. No matter what you're up to in the mountains, with the Set Pro IPS from Pieps you’ll be well equipped in an emergency.
