With the Calcite Jacket from Patagonia, there is no such thing as bad weather. It’s absolutely perfect for hut trips and hiking in the mountains. Engineered with GORE-TEX, the jacket is not only waterproof but also offers high levels of breathability, so it sheds moisture quickly to keep you dry and comfortable. For added breathability and comfort, there are pit zips as well. For protection around your head, you can slip on the hood and even wear it over a helmet. The zips are watertight to ensure that no water gets in. Thanks to the adjustable waistband and sleeves, the fit of the jacket is very comfortable and performance-oriented. For storage, it has two large front pockets and one chest pocket. Of course, it’s also nice and light, so it’s not a pain to pack up and carry! A real all-rounder for trekkers and hill walkers!

Great jacket, fits me very-well, good material, low weight, good skin contact, 2.5L but in a backpacking ready tough material. The only complaint can be that side pockets are positioned in a way you cannot access them when wearing a backpack - though this is something I knew before purchased - still decided to not to move to 3L high class alpine jackets (with good pockets) b/c of price/functionality. Beautiful colours like always with Patagonia.
