The Kamet GTX Jacket from Millet is a technical hardshell jacket designed for demanding alpine activities. According to the manufacturer, it was originally developed for an expedition on the west face of the Kamet (7,756 m) and has since proven itself over many years as a reliable companion in the high mountains. In its current version, it combines its legendary durability with high-quality materials and a revised, performance-oriented design – ideal for classic and technical alpinism.

Waterproof, windproof and breathable

Featuring a GORE-TEX ePE membrane, the Kamet GTX offers reliable protection against the elements while maintaining a high level of breathability. The membrane is PFAS-free and impresses with its lighter weight and reduced carbon footprint, without compromising on long-lasting waterproofing. The outer, made from recycled polyamide, also ensures high wear resistance, which is essential on rock and mixed terrain.

Close-fitting cut, pre-moulded sleeves and helmet-compatible hood

The close-fitting cut, which tapers slightly towards the bottom, is specially designed for use with a climbing harness and backpack. Articulated sleeves support natural movement patterns while climbing, and the newly developed, helmet-compatible hood is precisely adjustable and stays securely in place even in strong winds. This ensures the jacket remains comfortable and functional even in challenging situations.

Practical front pockets and underarm ventilation zips

Two high-set zipped pockets are easily accessible even when wearing a climbing harness. Underarm ventilation zips ensure rapid temperature regulation during high-intensity activity. The adjustable hem with an elasticated drawstring prevents wind and cold from getting in.
