Weatherproof outdoor jacket with 2L GORE-TEX
For a hardshell jacket, the Treeline Light Hardshell Hooded Jacket from Mammut is pleasantly lightweight. It can be stowed away in your touring luggage to save space and is always ready for use in rain or wind. Thanks to its 2L GORE-TEX laminate and 28,000 mm hydrostatic head, this outdoor jacket is completely waterproof and windproof. Sealed seams on the inside and a PFC-free DWR treatment on the outer shell complete the jacket's weatherproof design.
Hardshell jacket with adjustable hood
Mammut has equipped the Treeline Light Hardshell Hooded Jacket with a high collar and 1-point adjustment on the hood. As a result, the hood can be adjusted quickly to fit perfectly. Plus, the jacket features hook-and-loop fasteners to adjust the cuffs and can also be adjusted at the hem.
In addition, Mammut has produced the jacket almost entirely from recycled raw materials. It is Fair Wear certified and also categorised as a bluesign product. Plus, no PFCs are used in the production process.

I have summited Mt. Elbrus (5642m) wearing this, a month ago, and it was quite good especially given the price. But I found 2 annoying disadvantages.
1. After 2-3 hours in a snowstorm with self-catching exercises which required a lot of snow sliding, it was something wet inside. While my friends who were wearing Arcteryx or other brands, were dry.
2. It doesn’t have any ventilation zips, which I thought would be fine, but that was a mistake. On a direct sun in a mountain it can quickly become hot and having ventilation zips helps a lot. Without them I had to constantly zip and unzip the main zipper.
Apart from that it’s a great jacket which I hope will serve me more summits!
