Mammut - Eiswand Guide Midlayer Jacket - Fleece jacket

If a jacket in the Mammut Eiger Extreme collection is called the Eiswand Guide Midlayer Jacket, it's obvious who is was designed for: professional alpinists! Made of technical and very elastic Polartec Thermal Pro fleece treated with Hardface technology, this mid-layer jacket is extremely abrasion resistant and thus durable as well. In other words, you won't have to worry about rubbing up against rough limestone or sharp-edged granite. This bad boy can take it. Plus, the fleece's breathability and thermal efficiency are excellent and the warm waffle backing on the interior is soft and comfortable. To increase the amount of comfort provided by this jacket, Mammut used a high percentage of elastane, gave it an ergonomic cut and incorporated functional underarm gussets for plenty of freedom of movement whilst climbing. For even more comfort, the jacket was equipped with flatlock seams as well as flat elasticated cuffs that are perfectly compatible with gloves. The two pockets will, of course, remain accessible when you're wearing a climbing harness. The jacket is equipped with a soft chin guard as well.
