How durable is outer layer
My current down jacket has torn a few times because it snagged on something rough.

Brilliant jacket, very warm.
I couldn’t be happier with my new jacket. It’s very high quality and feels very well made. It is also exceptionally warm and a good level of waterproof resistance. I’ve also now bought the equivalent gilet! To top it all off I got it in the sale. Highly recommended jacket.

Hi Fergus, it won't be hugely more robust. Very few down jackets are decently snag resistant due to the way they are constructed. Something like this would be a more robust choice: https://www.bergfreunde.eu/fjaellraeven-skogsoe-padded-jacket-casual-jacket/
