Reinforced at the shoulders and elbows, your pack won't wear through this heavy-duty jacket even when you test it's carrying capacity.G-1000 fabric keeps water off and the wind away. A full lining of pile polyester adds warmth, and the generous cut of this jacket accommodates layers whether you're laying it on thick for extra heat or going for a more minimalist approach when spring might be possible. The two-way front zip gives you access from on top or down below, and the snap-close placket creates a barrier against intrusive wind and rain. The hood snugs down around your head, and the drawcord hem seals out the elements. Peppered with pockets, you can store dog treats, doggie bags, gloves, a smart phone, and people treats, too, with room to spare.
