Long approaches through coastal rainforests are typical of backpacking trips in coastal BC and Alaska, and it's those rugged and wet landscapes that the Arc'teryx Men's Zeta LT Jacket was designed for. The jacket implements a lightweight and compressible design, so it won't eat up too much pack space, but with a Gore-Tex Pro three-layer shell, fully taped seams, and an Arc'teryx Nu water repellent finish, the jacket doesn't compromise an ounce of weather protection.The Zeta LT features the Gore C-Knit backer, which has a smooth texture, making the jacket comfortable, supple, and quiet. Watertight zippers throughout the jacket make for a water-resistant closure, while the low-profile hood is equipped with multiple adjustment points and a laminated brim to keep spitting rains out of your hair and off your face. The droptail hem extends below where a hipbelt from a backpack would ride, so the jacket wears comfortably with a pack.
