Product description
Robust and lightweight, the Exogen 2 2-person tent by Wechsel. The entire tent is made of ripstop nylon. The flysheet has a silicone treatment on both sides of its surface to make it particularly tear-resistant, durable and highly UV resistant. The floor seams have been additionally taped to further increase the water repellent effect. The floor has a hydrostatic head of 5,000 mm, so you don’t need to worry about moisture penetration, even during heavy rain. The inner tent also has a water repellent effect, but it is breathable for comfortable ventilation. The lightweight aluminium poles are secured at two intersections to minimise warping of the tent in strong winds. This keeps the geodesic tent stable even in strong winds and minimises unpleasant fluttering of the sheet. A buckle that connects the flysheet with the inner tent has been colour coded to make putting up the tent easier. Erecting the Exogen 2 is quick and easy, and it is virtually impossible to connect the parts incorrectly. It is possible to put up just the flysheet and the footprint if you only require light weather protection. For comfortable ventilation, there are four <span class="colour" style="color:rgb(10, 10, 10)”>mosquito nets and two ventilation openings that are arranged for constant air circulation. The tent has two entrances with vestibule, giving travellers enough space for their rucksack and walking shoes, and meaning that they don’t have to climb over the tent’s other occupants if they want to get up earlier.
