I had my previous Tilley Outback for almost 20 years and used it frequently. By the end, it was quite worn out, and I eventually lost it—but it was a great hat.
It’s excellent for the outdoors, offering great protection from the sun and good protection from rain. The two-lace system is also very effective in windy conditions.
It is expensive, but while you probably won’t buy it for life, you can certainly expect it to last a very long time. For me, 20 years is pretty good proof of that.
