Product description
The Akela 45 from Tatonka is a tough trekking backpack for teenagers. Originally designed for Scouts, it’s also ideal for short trekking trips. With a total capacity of 45 litres, its main and bottom compartments and zipped side pockets provide plenty of room for camp essentials or travel kit. Loops on the front allow extra gear to be attached, while a dedicated sleeve can be used to carry tent poles, for example.
The carrying system has an adjustable back length, allowing the wearer to position the hip belt for the best fit. This ensures effective load transfer, making a fully packed rucksack easier on the back. The main polyamide fabric is lightweight yet highly resistant to tearing and abrasion, so it can stand up to thorns and sharp branches. A PU coating on the inside makes the backpack waterproof.
