Its ergonomic stainless steel head piece is complemented by a durable pick that optimally penetrates ice and hard snow, a moderately curved shaft made from lightweight metal, and an adjustable holder that prevents snow from accumulating. In addition, the Asgard ice axe owes its high stability and clean finish to the innovative composite technology with which it was manufactured.
