Weighing in at only 55 grams, the Verso is a must-have addition to every climbing harness. Suitable ropes:
- Single ropes: 8.5 to 11 mm,
- Half ropes: 7.1 to 9.2 mm,
- Twin ropes: 6.9 to 9.2 mm.

Great for indoors. If planning to do some outdoor climbing, I suggest you spend the extra €2 to get the reverso which has the benefit of guide mode.

As my first belaying device, this was probably a bad choice. Seems to handle a wider range of ropes including narrower ones that I use at the club, which tend to snatch and not flow through easily.
Nothing wrong with this device if you know its intricacies, but a simpler option is better for new climbers. I only picked it for the colour! :D
