Durable quickdraw in various sizes
The Spirit Express quickdraw from Petzl is ideal for sport climbing, alpine climbing or ice climbing! This tough polyamide quickdraw sling connects the two Spirit snapgate carabiners. Its Keylock system prevents the carabiners from snagging when clipping and unclipping. The carabiner for clipping into the piton features a straight gate to further facilitate clipping and unclipping. Meanwhile, the other carabiner features a curved gate which allows the rope to be clipped more efficiently.

Oh, I used to dream of owning Petzl Spirits. But back then, in the 90's, they were so expensive! Well not anymore! So I finally got a nice big set, and love them! I was worried the the nonsensical holes on the new model would make me feel unsecure. But no, I don't think about it in the slightest while climbing. They still feel solid.
They are light, clip nicely, the gate snaps well, easy to remove in sport routes. I like the new dogbones better than the previous version as the upper carabiner does not tend to turn in them as much. I like the 3 dogbone sizes and would probably opt for more long ones and less short ones if I were to buy them again.
The only thing I wish was different is to have different colors on diffenet length dogbones. Say black, grey, white. It can be a bit confusing to reach for the lenght you want as the black dogbones visually blend together.
Well-crafted design which inspires confidence when clipping in... a pleasure to use!
