Product description
The Gully Adze from Petzl is an extremely lightweight ice axe designed for demanding alpine use, such as steep rock faces, mixed routes and classic mountaineering. Its compact design combines minimal weight with high efficiency in challenging conditions. The curved, tapered pick bites reliably into ice and firn, while the Trigrest finger rest – which can be adjusted without tools – improves your sense of control and allows for quick adjustment of your hand.
In addition, the ergonomically designed head and slightly curved shaft ensure a comfortable grip, whether used as a support pick or for pulling. Plus, the Gully Adze comes with a compact shovel, which can be a great help when clearing snow. Optional weights, available separately, can be fitted to provide extra impact when breaking through hard ice.
