Weatherproof toploader for day trips

The Altvia Pack 28L hiking backpack from Patagonia is made from durable 140D ripstop nylon and is reinforced with an extra strong 210D ripstop nylon bottom. This versatile daypack offers a total of 28 litres of storage space and is comfortable to carry with its padded shoulder straps and back.

Daypack with a DWR treatment and rain cover

Patagonia equips the Altvia Pack 28L with a dirt and water-repellent DWR treatment that forces water droplets to bead up on the surface of the backpack. In addition, a PU-coated rain cover made from recycled polyester taffeta protects the backpack’s contents and ensures maximum flexibility, even on rainy days.

Plus, this versatile toploader offers enough space to comfortably stow provisions and equipment for day trips. Last but not least, this tough backpack is made from recycled materials and is also plenty practical for everyday life.

Nice bag with practical features

I’m pretty tall and the bag is a good fit for me. It has plenty of room for your additional layers of clothing, food etc - and has a top compartment for your phone, compass and any other bits and bobs. Good deep side pockets for water bottle also.
