The snug unisex slipper comes equipped with a single hook-and-loop strap for a firm hold. The Python is an extremely sensitive climbing shoe that allows you to feel the features of the rock beneath your feet. The rubber coverage at the heel is great for heel hooks and overhanging routes. There’s sticky rubber over the instep for increased grip on the wall if the problem requires you to flip over or there’s nothing left for you to do other than a toe hook.
The high heel tension and the moderate downturn transfer power to the toes on the smallest holds, and the Vibram sole literally sticks to the wall. Since hooks put more strain on the rubber, La Sportiva has reinforced the Python with a special adhesive. That way, those seemingly impossible boulders will seem more doable. The rest is up to you!
