Lightweight and robust - the Edelrid Shield II! What makes this climbing helmet so light is the In-mold construction that fuses a polycarbonate outer shell with an EPS foam core. This delivers an excellent balance of low weight, stability and cushioning. Thanks to the ergonomically shaped interior as well as the removable padding, the helmet will be extremely comfortable and can be adjusted using the Wing Fit system for an individualised fit.
The helmet also has large vents allow for a constant supply of fresh air during your climb. In addition, the alpine helmet is also equipped with four head torch clips as well as an adjustable chin strap. Bought this helmet last year, taken it across the country from Cornwall to the Lakes and it's worked a treat! Super lightweight that I forget I'm wearing it (and I don't normally like wearing helmets so that's an extra bonus). Well recommended!!!
