It's lightweight and easy to use, however it tends to twist the rope. Descending is also quite nice with it and you can be more versetile depending on how you orient it.

Some practice needed to enhance use. Only cons - a little harder/jerky lowering and rappeling, which I corrected using small carabiner in eyelet to control the tilt of the device. Withe thicker smooth bodied carabiner locks off perfectly and has no excessive friction when used for belaying above/from anchor.

Great for when your climber is on a project and sits on the rope for extended periods of time.
Not very smooth when lowering your climber or when abseiling.
