Product description
The Mago 8 from Edelrid is a hybrid between a figure eight descender and a belay device. Perfect for alpine climbing, this device is not only lightweight and compact but has a small pack size as well. As a figure eight descender, it is particularly well suited for low-diameter ropes. The geometry of the device allows for several different friction modes, making it possible for you to make precise adjustments to the abseiling speed. The belay device also has a plate function for belaying a second from a belay station.
