Perfect for classic mountaineering - the Edelrid Attila! The technical ice axe has a hardened steel pick that easily drills through ice. Plus, its has a few openings, which keeps its weight down and makes for a slim design. What's more the ergonomically-shaped blade is great for smooth plunging on the uphill. At the other end, there is a wide adze for efficient step cutting In addition, the ice axe has a slightly curved tubular aluminium shaft, which makes light work of alpine terrain.
There is a centroid marking on the shaft for T-anchor build up as well. Lastly, the hardened steel spike has an opening for accommodating a carabiner. Thus, the Edelrid Attila has everything a reliable ice axe should to help you get by in alpine terrain!
