Product description
If you're a mountaineer or enjoy going on via ferratas, then you’ll love the Trail 30 from deuter. Despite its snug fit, it’s pleasantly ventilated. Plus, thanks to the flexible Delrin U-frame, the weight will be evenly distributed to ensure a perfect fit, and both the shoulder straps and the hip fins have perforations to offer maximum ventilation.
The Trail has a volume of 30 litres, so you’ll have enough space to safely stow away your essentials and keep them organized. In addition to the spacious main compartment with the integrated compression straps, the Trail 30 has a stretchy inner compartment, an inner valuables pocket, an ice axe/walking pole holder, an elastic side compartment, a spacious lid compartment and a pocket on the hip belt. If you aren’t carrying too much gear, you can also stow away the lid in the main compartment. In addition, the shoulder straps have carabiner attachments for your via ferrata set. Another practical feature includes the lid’s flat construction that’ll provide you with more headroom, even if you’re wearing a helmet. The Trail 30 is the way to go!

Have been using the pack continuously over the past 3 weeks as a 'day pack' and it still feels great to carry. Good to have two access points to the pack & to be able to go directly to your ring gear without unloading all the contents of the pack. The pack is light weight and the numeric colour makes a nice change from the standard dark colours out there.
Nothing not to like !
