10.07.2026Not very durable
I bought this rope in 40m to replace an older 30m indoor climbing rope and have been using it around 2–3 times per week since April 2026. The rope has never been subjected to any significant falls and has only seen regular indoor use.
After approximately 2–3 months of use, I noticed the rope became very soft compared to when it was new. While I am still using it, it no longer inspires the same level of confidence and doesn't feel as durable or reassuring as expected for a rope of this age and usage level.
Another issue is that the rope has become quite coily. I do use a GriGri for belaying, so I appreciate that this can contribute to rope twist over time. However, the coiling seems to have become noticeably worse over the last few weeks and is now affecting handling.
The price is definitely attractive and represents good value upfront. However, in my experience, the quality has not lived up to expectations. Given that the rope has only been used indoors, has seen moderate use, and has not experienced any falls, I would have expected it to maintain its handling characteristics for much longer.
Overall, I'm disappointed with how quickly the rope's handling characteristics have deteriorated, particularly given that it has only been used indoors and has not been exposed to any falls or unusually heavy wear.

Hi emiliano,
This rope will be ideal for either indoor or outdoor use. I would however recommend you also puchase a rope bag which will help keep your rope clean and in good condition.
