The Horn from Grivel is an ice tool component that serves to support your hand and is an absolute must for leashless climbing. It is suitable for just about all Grivel ice axes as well as the earlier models that have a spike with a clip hole. The Horn supports your hand and simultaneously protects your fingers when climbing steep ice.

WARNING:

The Horn was designed exclusively for supporting the climber's hand.

It must never be used for belaying or ropes manoeuvres.
