The Fonna Sweater is made from luxurious soft, brushed merino knit. Our quality is uncomparable to conventional poly fleece, as it is made from 80% fine merino wool, with all the nice benefits that comes with this natural fiber. It's cut for an oversized fit that falls just below your hips and has a convenient half zip for easy layering.

Machine washable on wool setting, 30 degrees Celcius
Use special detergent for wool - No bleach
Do not soak, rub or wring
Do not tumble dry
Reshape when wet - Dry flat

Our product line Faerder is named after the Faerder lighthouse, situated at the beginning of the Oslo fjord. This is also where the worlds biggest "over-night" regatta takes place every year,since 1947, the second weekend in the month of June. It is arranged by the Royal Norwegian Sailing Association. Usually, between 600-700 boats are in the race. A good fleece sweater is always a must to bring on a sail boat, and our version is made from a lovely, brushed Merino. It has a practical pocket in front, with zippers, of course, and it has details on the front and upper sleeve, made of water repellent fabric. The front is closed with a zipper and snap buttons.

This products runs a little big. We recommend choosing a size smaller than your normal size.

Basically, the only real difference I see is that the Fonna is an older model from last season.

But what is the difference between the two fleece jumpers as it looks to me like they are made from the same materials?
