The Immelman redefined the expectations for insulation by introducing the first and only fully articulated down jacket. Now the Immelman G2 takes a leap and brings updates to the ground breaking design. There is no possibility that the down filling can shift away from your body. Like I-Man the G2's main functionality of the jacket is designed with arms up for active climbing use. In addition, the main zipper has an important ventilation function. It must be able to regulate body heat with high precision. The main design function of the two-way zip system is to insure a no-snag system. The main pockets are designed to be effective and highly functional hand warmers. The pockets are a tunnel design that allows the hands to traverse the down layer and sit right next to the body where the jacket is warmest.The down filled collar shape has an anatomical cut which increases efficiency and comfort. The tuck away hood is fully adjustable and seals off the head perfectly. On the inside of the jacket there are two large warming pockets and an elastic waist draw cord. The cord is placed relatively higher than your actual waist where it will not interfere with your climbing harness. Their is no doubt the G2 will keep you warm and active in the most extreem mountain environments.
