The VE 25 3-person tent from The North Face is a safe haven for demanding mountain adventures! This perfectly balanced geodesic tent impresses thanks to its lightweight, yet extremely weatherproof materials. Its sophisticated design provides a good amount of space while still being lightweight and reliably stable.

Superior materials in a sophisticated construction

The waterproof and weatherproof outer tent is made from 40 denier nylon with a PU/silicone coating and water-repellent coating. The inner tent uses the same material without the coating, instead featuring a water-repellent finish for better ventilation and a dry indoor climate. Panels made from fine nylon mesh and a high-low ventilation system with multiple vents also contribute towards this purpose.

In addition, the fully taped and cut floor made from 70 denier nylon can withstand a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm. This helps to provide the tent with structural strength, as do the lightweight yet reliably robust DAC poles. Its combination of segments and clips makes it quick and easy to assemble, even in bad weather. With four snow pegs, pitching the Mountain 25 tent in snow isn’t a problem, either.

Welded reinforcements at critical areas and high-strength, dark-reflective guy lines with balancers at multiple attachment points bring even more stability to the design. Another special feature is the large vestibule with double entry, which is particularly practical when snow builds up on one side of the tent due to strong winds. The PU entrance window is cold break tested to -51°C. Inside the VE 25 3-person tent, there is plenty of storage space within the eight inner pockets and hanger loops for damp clothing.
