Hi Paddy,
Suunto are extremely vague about this. While the Vertical is primarily a watch directed towards outdoor adventure and training it is possible to add golf to the watch via the Suunto app. As and how good this is , that's really a question for Suunto. From the information that I have , it's just a basic function.
Hi Pat, personally my advice is the Fenix is superior but also more expensive. If it fits into your price expectations then the Fenix is the way to go but the Suunto is a good option at a more accessible price.
