The vest’s material is wind- and water-repellent for reliable protection against the elements, while a synthetic filling made from recycled coffee grounds insulates the hiker. This keeps the wearer warm without adding too much weight. With elastic cuffs and an elastic hem, heat is advantageously stored in the vest. The vest also brings very little weight to the scale, which is advantageous on hikes where you have to pay attention to your load. The vest’s ZipIn function is particularly practical, allowing it to be integrated into a hardshell jacket in no time at all.
